PROJECT: HIGHLAND VALLEY COPPER
Stock Pile Cover and Cladding – Geodesic Domes
OVERVIEW: Installation of tension ring foundation for Dome to attach to. Each Dome consisted of approximately 10,000 tubes that were fastened together with aluminum hubs. Readied each tube into hubs. Clad entire Dome area; approximately 400’wide x 150’ high. Duration of each Dome project approximately 1 year.
VALUE: $2,500,000 each
PROJECT TIMELINES: #1 Dome 2009-2010, #2 Dome 2010-2011, #3 Dome 2008-2009
PROJECT BENEFITS: Built strong relationship with clients and steel manufactures; streamlined project management and provided problem solving which saved costs and time.
